Living on campus at IU South Bend provides a full immersion in college life. Our eight River Crossing residences include one, two and four bedroom suites that are modern and move-in ready — just waiting for your arrival. Located directly across the beautiful St. Joseph River from campus, the residences are close to all university resources. You’ll walk across a picturesque footbridge to campus classes and activities. A recreational bike and walking trail along the meandering river offers the chance for exercise, fresh air and puts you close to nature.
A Friendly Gathering Place
The River Crossing Community Building is located amidst the residences and is a gathering place for socializing, studying, watching movies and even an occasional open-microphone night with performances by students, faculty and staff.
